Machine learning methods have had spectacular success on fairly a couple of points. Here we current {{that a}} excellent class of learning algorithms – along with Support Vector Machines (SVMs) — have a pure interpretation by means of ecological dynamics. We use these ideas to design new on-line SVM algorithms that exploit ecological invasions, and benchmark effectivity using the MNIST dataset. Our work provides a model new ecological lens by means of which we are going to view statistical learning and opens the potential for designing ecosystems for machine learning.
