JPMorgan to launch UK digital lender in early 2021: Sky News
(Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co <JPM.N> is planning to launch its on-line British retail monetary establishment in the first quarter of 2021 beneath its Chase mannequin, Sky News reported, citing know-how enterprise sources.
The deliberate enterprise will rival Goldman Sachs’ <GS.N> Marcus mannequin and start-ups along with Monzo and Starling at a time when residence challengers have struggled to break the dominance of the nation’s “Big Four” banks.
JPMorgan has signed up suppliers along with Amazon Web Services and 10x Future Technologies to current it with cloud and digital banking infrastructure, the report said.
JPMorgan declined to contact upon the Sky News report.
