Wirecard innovation team moves to Berlin-based fintech
BERLIN (Reuters) – A know-how team from Wirecard <WDIG.DE>, the German funds agency that collapsed in June, is turning into a member of a model new digital innovation unit being organize by Berlin financial know-how group finleap.
The switch by the six-strong team headed by Joern Leogrande, head of Wirecard’s innovation labs, comes ahead of the formal opening of insolvency proceedings subsequent month which is likely to be seemingly to lead to job losses on the Munich-based group.
