SoftBank Group restarts dividend as finances stabilise

TOKYO (Reuters) – SoftBank Group Corp talked about on Friday it might pay an interim dividend of twenty-two yen per share for the current 12 months, the similar as the sooner fiscal 12 months, after a set of big asset product sales stabilised the group’s finances.
The dividend declaration is the latest sign the group, which was shaken by soured investments and the COVID-19 pandemic, is regaining its confidence, buoyed by gives along with the $40 billion sale of chip designer Arm to Nvidia.
The year-end dividend forecast is however to be determined.
