Turkey probes Facebook’s move to collect WhatsApp data

ISTANBUL (Reuters) – The Turkish Competition Board talked about on Monday it launched an investigation into WhatsApp and its proprietor Facebook Inc after the messaging app requested prospects to agree to let Facebook collect client data along with phone numbers and locations.
In a written assertion, the Competition Board talked about it dominated the data-collection requirement have to be suspended until the probe is full.
“The Competition Board has opened an investigation into Facebook and WhatsApp and suspended the requirement to share Whatsapp data,” it talked about.
