China says Indian ban on apps violates WTO rules

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – China acknowledged on Wednesday that the Indian authorities’s decision to keep up a ban on 59 Chinese apps was a violation of the World Trade Organization’s truthful rules of enterprise and would injury Chinese firms.
The ban dates from ultimate yr when political rigidity between the neighbours rose over their disputed border. This month the Indian authorities decided to keep up the ban on TikTok and completely different apps.
“We urge the Indian side to straight away proper its discriminatory measures and avoid inflicting further damage to bilateral cooperation,” Chinese embassy spokesperson Ji Rong acknowledged in an announcement.
