Exclusive-White House pulled into unionization effort at Amazon facility

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House and the labor leaders linked with the Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union have talked about the group’s effort to unionize an Amazon.com Inc facility in Alabama, an RWDSU official said on Wednesday.
Amazon, America’s second-biggest private employer behind Walmart Inc, would not have any union labor inside the United States, and employees at its success center in Bessemer, Alabama, could possibly be the first to affix within the occasion that they vote in favour.
