Silicon Catalyst targets British innovation with UK launch

LONDON (Reuters) – Silicon Catalyst, an incubator of startup companies, has chosen Britain as the placement of its first European operation, saying it hoped to capitalise on the UK’s doc of innovation.
SiliconCatalyst.UK will help semiconductor {{hardware}} start-ups pace up ideas through prototype and manufacturing phases by providing advice, help, and entry to strategic companions and patrons, the company acknowledged, replicating a model it has deployed in Silicon Valley since 2015.
Britain has a rising number of silicon startups that need to emulate the success of ARM, the Cambridge-based agency whose processor designs power virtually all the world’s smartphones.
