Amazon seeks FCC approval to launch two Project Kuiper satellites by 2022

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Amazon.com’s satellite-internet Project Kuiper on Monday requested the U.S. Federal Communications Commission for approval to launch and performance two prototype satellites by the highest of 2022.
Amazon, which has pledged $10 billion to assemble a neighborhood of 1000’s of satellites, acknowledged the testing and demonstration launch is “an obligatory step in direction of Amazon’s goal of delivering high-capacity, low latency broadband communications suppliers to tens of a whole bunch of 1000’s of unserved and underserved prospects and firms.”
