Amazon to create 1,500 jobs in UAE this year

DUBAI (Reuters) – Amazon said on Monday it plans to create 1,500 direct and indirect jobs in the United Arab Emirates this year as a result of it expands its presence in the nation.
Job creation will come from development of provide and storage providers, it said in an announcement. There have been no particulars on what variety of of those jobs will be direct ones.
“Amazon will open 4 new provide stations, boosting last-mile capabilities to tempo up deliveries and attain further shoppers”, it said.
“The development moreover creates additional jobs by way of its sellers and provide companions.”
Amazon said earlier this year its cloud service unit, Amazon Web Services, will launch three information centres in the first half of 2022 in the United Arab Emirates, its second Middle East infrastructure space.
